We need to create real market places for R&D activities outside the university laboratories and research centers for more interaction with the industrial sector. The MIA competition is a first-of-a-kind program on a pan-Arab level that will create such possibilities. Not only will it help university students and researchers to market their findings and develop their entrepreneurial skills, but it will also create awareness of and build trust in the ability of Arab technology experts to answer local technological and development challenges

President, Arab Science & Technology Foundation (ASTF)
Sessions
This section of the MIA website introduces a another service to the MIA participants aimed at linking them with experts in their fields for a presentation-guided real-time training session, in which all attendees can interact with the presenter by posting their questions and receiving oral answers from the presenter during the session.

The sessions shall be activated based on an e-mail sent to participants stating the specific time and duration of the session.

If you are an expert in any of the competition technology fields and want to give a lecture in a specific field, please enter the requested details in the “login as Expert” page from the homepage and send an e-mail from the “Contact Us” page showing your interest to present that specific topic.
